Outbound Exchange Program
The International Affairs and Chinese Language Center (IACLC) encourages NTSU students to take their education beyond borders. Through our exchange programs with international partner universities around the globe, we aim to cultivate students with second language proficiency and international competitiveness, enhancing their global perspective and concept of a global village, as well as their cross-cultural exchange experience.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Outbound Exchange Program, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate or graduate students at NTSU (Students in their final semester or extending their study period should check specific rules).
- Academic Performance: Minimum Cumulative GPA of 80/100 (or equivalent, as required by specific partner universities).
- Language Proficiency (varies by host university).
- Conduct & Disciplinary Record: Good moral standing with no major disciplinary record at NTSU.
Note: Application Eligibility is handled in accordance with the contracts between NTSU and each sister university.
Application Timeline
We conduct two main selection rounds per academic year, 1stSemester and 2ndSemester,
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents to IACLC before the deadline:
- Application Form
- Official Academic Transcript
- Study Plan (1–2 pages in English or the language of instruction at the host university)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resumé
- Recommendation Letter from Department Chair or Advisor
- Language proficiency certificates, athletic records, or other supporting documents

Important Notes
- Admission Notice: Partner universities hold final approval authority. Qualifications will be automatically revoked if admission is declined or if canceled due to personal reasons. Reassignment or postponement is not permitted
- Expenses: Students pay NTSU tuition and fees while covering their own airfare, living expenses, insurance, visa fees, textbooks, meals, and medical checks.
