NTSU Welcomes 2 Scholars from ZRS Koper, Slovenia

From October 22 to October 25, 2026, National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) was honored to host two distinguished scholars from the Science and Research Centre Koper (ZRS Koper), Slovenia: Prof. Rado Pišot, PhD (Director of ZRS Koper) and Prof. Uroš Marušič, PhD (Deputy Head of the Institute for Kinesiology Research, ZRS Koper).

The invited seminar, titled "Healthy Longevity × Brain-Body Neurotechnology," aimed to explore the futuristic integration of physical activity, brain health, and healthy aging.

Due to unexpected severe weather conditions and Typhoon warnings, the event was seamlessly adapted into an online format. Despite the change in venue, the virtual lecture was a resounding success, attracting active participation and enthusiastic discussions among NTSU faculty, researchers, and students.

Beyond the academic exchange, Prof. Pišot and Prof. Marušič had the opportunity to take a campus tour of NTSU and explore some of Taiwan’s most celebrated cultural and historical landmarks. Their itinerary included visits to the iconic Taipei 101 and the picturesque historic mountain village of Jiufen. The scholars also delighted in experiencing local Taiwanese gastronomy, immersing themselves in the rich culture and hospitality that Taiwan has to offer.

This visit has strengthened the academic connection between NTSU and ZRS Koper, paving the way for future international collaborations in sports science, kinesiology, and neurotechnology. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both scholars for their inspiring lectures and look forward to further fruitful exchanges!
