The President of National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU), Professor Chin-Hsung Kao, visited our partner university, Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi City from October 22 to October 25. The objectives of this visit are to move forward to the next step of collaborations between NTSU and RIOU as well as to share insights on sport management movement with RIOU faculty and students.
On October 22, President Kao met the Pro-Rector of RIOU, Irina Badayan, and the Head of International Educational Programmes of RIOU, Diana Pruidze, to discuss the opportunities for future cooperation and visited Sochi Olympic Park.
RIOU is located in Sochi Olympic Park. It is the world’s first university dedicated to sport business education, offering unique programs infused with Olympic values and experiences. The Chairman of the RIOU Board of Trustees is the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
A NTSU alumnus, who graduated from the Graduate Institute of International Sport Affairs in June, 2015, was awarded the full scholarship from RIOU and is currently studying Master of Sport Administration there.
