Chiang Rai City Mayor and Delegation from Thailand visit NTSU on October 28.

Chiang Rai City Mayor Wanchai Chongsuttanamanee led the delegation members including President of Chiang Rai Provincial Sport Association Mrs. Ratana and President of Thai-Taiwan Business Association visited National Taiwan Sport University on October 28. During the stay in NTSU, the guests enjoyed the campus tour of badminton court, SPDI lab, meeting with President CHIU and NTSU faculty members.   
Chiang Rai City is designated as “Sport City” by Thailand Government; therefore, Chiang Rai City Mayor Wanchai expressed the intention to have collaboration with NTSU. During the discussion session, President Chiu encouraged faculty members to establish more collaborations with Chiang Rai City and Thailand in terms of researching, training and leisure industry in sport, such as athletes exchange training program, joint conference, sports industries collaboration and developing the nutrition products together etc.   
In terms of education, President CHIU encouraged the students from Chiang Rai City to study Chinese in NTSU Chinese Language Center and planning to have sports camp in next March. President CHIU also promised to provide the scholarship to the students coming from Chiang Rai City.
More close collaborations can be expected in the near future.
